after a good 2 months it's time for me to leave this beautiful place. i learned so much in this short period. i learned about beer brewing, cheese making, permaculture and sustainable living in an eco–village. doing this for longer than 88 days allows me to apply for a second working holiday visa. my hosting family was great. morag and evan who both teach in permaculture and their children hugh, maia and monty have been very nice to me and made me feel very welcome in this place. besides this i got to meet with the locals in the village and also drink with them in the local pub. after a while a lot of fellow wwoofers came to work in the village and this really made my stay complete. crystal waters is a very multi cultural village and is working in a good direction to reduce waste in this world. for me it's time to head up north now for the warm winter months.
crystal waters is amazing! there are about 250 people living here with more than 15 different nationalities. crystal waters is one of the first and still today one of the biggest permaculture eco–villages in the world. to see a video of steve's music check out his website
